HP has launched a new Chromebook laptop for students in India. Called HP Chromebook x360 14a, the new convertible laptop comes as the first AMD powered Chromebook by the company. HP says that the 2-in-1 laptop has been designed to cater to students aged 4 to 15 years.

As can be judged from its name, the new HP Chromebook features a convertible form factor with a touch display. This means that it can be used as a laptop as well as a tablet with the keyboard folded back. HP also claims a power-efficient processing on the PC along with a long battery life.

The new HP Chromebook x360 14a is already up for sale on Amazon India at a starting price of Rs 32,999. It is available in Mineral Silver, Ceramic White, and Forrest Teal colors. Here is a detailed look at what it has to offer at this price.

HP Chromebook x360 14a specifications

The new Chromebook x360 14a comes as the third offering in HP’s Chromebook portfolio. It sports a 14-inch HD touch display with 81 per cent screen-to-body ratio that ensures narrow bezels around it. The HP PC also ships with support for Google Assistant as well as a free Google One subscription for one year, which can definitely help with additional data storage for users.

The convertible laptop is powered by two powerful “Zen” Cores as well as AMD Radeon Graphics. It features 4GB RAM and is equipped with 64 eMMC SSD storage, which is further expandable up to 256 GB using external micro-SD. As mentioned above, an additional cloud storage of 100GB is also available with the bundled Google One subscription.
