9-Year-Old Girl Dies Of Heart Attack After Collapsing During Playtime At Rajasthan School
In a tragic incident, a nine-year-old girl died after reportedly suffering a sudden heart attack while playing in the playground of a private school in Rajasthan’s Gotan.
The child has been identified as Divya, a Class 5 student and daughter of Rajendra Bapedia from Talanpur.
The incident occurred on February 23 at around 7:48 am. There was still time for the morning prayer, and several children were playing in the school ground. Divya was playing with them when she suddenly stumbled, fainted, and fell.
School staff immediately rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
With the consent of her family, the girl was cremated without a post-mortem examination, reports said.
Family members said Divya’s elder brother, Abhishek, had died in a similar way around four months earlier. On September 9, 2025, he reportedly fainted while playing at home and was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead, Bhaskar English reported.
The deaths of the two siblings within such a short period have left their family and the local community in deep shock.
