CM Stalin burns copy of Delimitation Bill in Namakkal

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin burnt a copy of the Delimitation Bill as part of the statewide protest in Namakkal on Thursday (April 16, 2026).

Against the proposed amendment on delimitation, the Bill to be tabled in Parliament on Thursday (April 16, 2026), the DMK president and Chief Minister called it a ‘conspiracy and a black law’. He urged people to hoist black flags in every home and public place on Thursday (April 16, 2026).

Based on the statewide protest called by the DMK, the Chief Minister, who is in Namakkal for campaigning, hoisted a black flag at Nallipalayam. He raised slogans that Tamil Nadu will protest and Tamil Nadu will win.

Adi Dravidar Welfare Department Minister M. Mathiventhan, Rajya Sabha member KRN. Rajeshkumar and DMK functionaries also participated In the protest.

Later, Mr. Stalin canvassed votes for Namakkal DMK candidate Rani at Namakkal Uzhavar Sandhai and interacted with people in the market.
