Punjab Woman Stabbed To Death By Male Colleague Inside Private Firm, CCTV Captures Gruesome Murder
In a shocking incident at a private firm in Mohali, a woman employee was allegedly stabbed to death by a male colleague at the workplace on Friday, officials said. The attack, which unfolded inside the office, has raised serious concerns over workplace safety in the area.
According to Mohali Police, preliminary investigations indicate that the accused, identified as Harvinder Mann, also known as Harry, was a colleague of the victim. After allegedly attacking the woman with a knife, he reportedly attempted to take his own life by stabbing himself multiple times with the same weapon.
The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the office.
Both the victim and the accused were rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali in critical condition. The woman, identified as Dimple, a resident of Patiala, succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The accused is currently undergoing medical care, and his condition remains critical.
Police from Phase 11 have registered a case of murder and are probing all possible angles to ascertain the motive behind the attack. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
